Last week, I reintroduced myself, and your comments reminded me why I started this. Most of you know me as a builder of houses, businesses, and wealth. That’s been my entire adult life.
For years, I built everything bigger. More square footage. More companies. More commas in the bank account.
On paper, I was winning. I had money. I had momentum. I had what most people chase.
📍Hello from France, where I am writing this to you!
But then came the moment I’ll share on launch day, October 7th—the moment that made me realize I’d been climbing the wrong ladder.
I was chasing “success” that didn’t add up to the life I actually wanted.
Have you ever felt that? The uneasy sense that what you’ve been working so hard to build might not be the thing that makes you truly wealthy?
Come back next Tuesday for the full story.
💡 Before we dive in—if this resonates, would you share it with a friend who’d enjoy it too? My goal is 500 subscribers by launch day, and your share makes a big difference. Thank you. 💚
What I Learned
Money matters. It touches almost everything else. But it’s only one spoke of the wheel of life.
Wealth is freedom. Time to live life on your terms.
Wealth is fulfillment. Work and choices aligned with your values.
Wealth is relationships. The depth you build with family, friends, and community.
Money is fuel. Not the whole story.
Behind the Scenes
For years, I’ve been gathering notes on money, leadership, and life.
I’ve shared them with employees, high school students, friends, and anyone who’s ever asked me for advice.
Once I finally sat down to write, I realized just how much had been stacking up in my head. Hundreds of pages poured out—stories, strategies, and lessons. Some hard-earned, some funny, some painful—but all real.
This Substack is the product of those notes. Now the challenge (and the fun) is shaping them into something useful for you. Each week, I’ll pull from those pages and share what I’ve learned—the wins, the failures, and the philosophies that have helped me build both financial wealth and a fulfilling life.
So, what has it been like building something new?
Starting from scratch. After 25 years of building companies, this feels different. Writing is vulnerable—you can’t hide behind a job site or a balance sheet.
Stepping out. I’ve mentored one-on-one, but most people don’t know my whole story. This is me opening up in a bigger way.
Finding my voice. The hardest part? Deciding where to start. I have so much I want to share—practical, personal, real.
I’m grateful you’re here at the start of this. And I’d love for it to be a conversation, not just a broadcast. If there’s a topic you want me to cover, a question you’re wrestling with, or a story you’d like to hear more about, shoot me a note.
The Mission of BOLD Wealth
BOLD Wealth isn’t another company; it’s a movement.
I created this space to share the lessons I’ve lived—the wins, mistakes, habits, and strategies that helped me build wealth and a fulfilling life.
Here’s what you can expect each week:
Money. The strategies I’ve used to build millions in wealth—real estate, smart investing, and avoiding traps.
Habits. Daily choices that compound into real progress.
Values. Aligning time, money, and energy with what matters most.
My promise: I’ll help you grow financial wealth—and use it to build a life you actually love.
Your Turn
If money disappeared tomorrow, what would still make you wealthy?
Start Bold:
Write down your current definition of wealth.
Ask yourself: does it include freedom, fulfillment, and relationships—or just dollars?
Take one small step this week toward that bigger definition.

Why We Build Wealth
Money is fuel—not the finish line. We grow financial wealth not to keep score or chase status, but to unlock freedom: freedom to live aligned with our values, connected to the people we love, and energized to pursue a fulfilling life.
That’s the real payoff. That’s what it means to minor in money and major in life.
